It’s time for the money breakdown! This month I have 2 health coaching clients, one local and one across the country. One is doing Whole30 and one isn’t. That makes my planning a little more difficult because they are on totally different plans, but it’s great practice for my larger Whole30 groups I hope to have in the future. It’s also great practice for creating personalized plans for non-Whole30 clients.
I didn’t make any money from affiliates this month. I had a few referrals, but it wasn’t enough to produce any income. Not upset about it though. That would just be an added benefit. I don’t expect to ever make any big money from affiliate referrals, even if my company grows in the future. I just enjoy promoting products that I truly love and use all the time in hopes that others will start to use them too.
Google Ad Sense Ads were also less than stellar this month. A whopping 0.27 cents! If my ads income doesn’t go up in the next 6 months, I am going to take them down. They drive me crazy and I hate that my site is littered with them all over my posts. I can’t control how many they post or how frequently, and I don’t like that at all. It’s a good experiment though, and I will continue to see how it goes for a while in case my monthly views increase. Your pay out in ads is all based on your site views, so I will keep mine through the end of the year and see what happens.
My total monthly income for May was $300.27. That is from coaching and ads. A few of those dollars are taken out because I use Square for my transactions and they take a small fee, but it’s a very small percentage so it’s not too bad.
I increased my income by $240.00 this month. Not bad! 2 clients isn’t a huge amount, but it’s better than zero! I’m still new to this online coaching world, so I’m sure my progress will be slow. I’m fine with that. I don’t want to be overwhelmed anyways since I still have a full time job. This is just the side hustle!
I am planning a July Whole30 Group, and it’s not the best time to advertise for Whole30 because not too many people are interested mid-summer, but we will see how it goes! Hopefully that brings me a few more clients next month. Even if it doesn’t though, I am totally cool with it. I realize that in this business my income could drastically change from month to month, so I am not setting any expectations for myself. I will just work hard, promote my services when and where I can, and hope for the best!
It’s a learning experience and it’s fun to see the changes over time.
Speaking of Whole30, if you are interested in my July group, check out my Health Coaching page for more info! I would LOVE to have you join!
That’s all for this month!
Total May Income: $300.28
