I am 32, married to the stud pictured above, and I ski and bike for a living in the Colorado mountains. I was born and raised in Georgia but have officially proclaimed the west my new home. I love the outdoors, have a passion for health and wellness, and while this is currently my “side hustle”, I hope to make health coaching my full time job one day!
My Story (The Short Version)
For as long as I can remember I have had an addiction to sugar and an unhealthy relationship with food. I had binge eating tendencies throughout my youth and it only worsened as I got older. Around 8 years ago, I realized that my behaviors officially classified as Binge Eating Disorder and I began an active recovery. I have been obese, underweight, and everything in between. I’ve tried every fad diet, read countless recovery books, and experimented with multiple drugs and supplements in an effort to “cure” myself. A few years ago, I came to the realization that I was approaching my recovery with the wrong mindset. I now understand that this is a lifelong process of learning, growing, and healing. After extensive research in the fields of holistic nutrition and wellness, I developed a strong commitment to eliminating sugar and processed foods from my diet. I have learned that this is the key to my recovery success, mental well being, and overall happiness. My passion for maintaining a healthy lifestyle grew so much that I am now an A.C.E. Certified Health Coach as well as a Whole30 Certified Coach. My mission is to share my experiences, knowledge, and opinions in hopes of helping others in their own health journey while also growing in my own.
